KNOX - Anthony J. Pitts, 39, Winamac, died Thursday, Dec. 27, in Fort Wayne.

He was born Feb. 25, 1979 in Valparaiso, son of Orville Jay Pitts Jr. and the late Rita (Mann) Jenkins.

Surviving are father and step-mother, Orville and Melody Pitts Jr. of Plymouth; son, Preston Anthony Jay Pitts of Winamac; son, Noah Anthony Pitts of Winamac; daughter, Clairessa Elizabeth Pitts of Winamac; daughter, Lily Breann Pitts of Winamac; and grandparents, Iva and Cecil Mann of Winamac.

He was preceded in death by his mother Rita Jenkins.

Mr. Pitts worked as a welder. He was a member of the Nazarene Church of Winamac. He enjoyed watching sports and tinkering with autos. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and children.

Friends will be received from 12 noon until the time of service, Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Winamac Church of the Nazarene. The funeral service will begin at 1 pm., with Rev. Tanner officiating.
