Mary Lou Adams

February 7, 1927 to January 8, 2019

WINAMAC - Mary Lou Adams, 91, of Francesville (formerly of Winamac), passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Parkview Haven, Francesville.

She was born Feb. 7, 1927 in Caley, IN to the late Claude and Goldie Mae Irvin Swayze. She married Charles Joseph Adams on Aug. 24, 1946. He died Jan. 12, 1979.

She is survived by: 
Karen (Rob) Rife, Winamac, Daughter 
Connie Hale, Pickerington, OH, Daughter

Mrs. Adams attended Bethel Bible Church. She was a former cook at Winamac schools. She worked most of her life as a caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved raising flowers and working in her garden. She will be remember by many as a "real character." 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 11, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. (Friday), at the funeral home with Rev. Ed Clark officiating.
Interment will be at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial donations made be made to Parkview Haven, Riley Children's Hospital Foundation or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
