FRANCESVILLE - Marian B. Alberding, 97, of Gatesville, TX (formerly of Jasper and Pulaski counties) passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, in Gatesville.

She was born April 5, 1921 in Chicago, to the late Jacob and Marie Hanus Kendzora. On Oct. 17, 1942, she married Kenneth Alberding. He preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 2017.

She is survived by: 
Donna (Mike) Schultz, Gatesville, TX, Daughter 
16 Grandchildren 
55 Great Grandchildren 
Alvin Kendzora, Willowbrook, IL, Brother

She was preceded in death by: 
Linda Mobley, Daughter 
Janice Barton, Daughter 
Patty Leman, Daughter 
Lillian Kolar, Sister 
Blanche Kendzora, Infant Sister

Mrs. Alberding was a member of the First Baptist Church in Francesville. She served her Lord as a kindergarten Sunday School teacher for over 40 years.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28, at First Baptist Church, Francesville. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., Friday, at the church with Pastor Dennis Gutwein officiating. Burial will be at San Pierre Cemetery, San Pierre.
