WINAMAC - Nancy Adeline Moore Foerg, 85, Winamac, passed away at 4:47 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, at Hickory Creek, Winamac.

She was born Jan. 19, 1933, on the family farm in Monterey, to the late Harley D. and Ellen Riggs Moore. As a young girl, she loved to dance and roller skate. She graduated from Winamac High School in 1951.

While raising her family of five, Mrs. Foerg also enjoyed mowing and flower gardening. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Winamac. Later in life, she had time to do embroidery and picture puzzles. In the last eight years she enjoyed the nurses, aides, administrators, cooks, maintenance and residents of Hickory Creek at Winamac who had become her extended family. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and all those who knew her.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 4, at the funeral home with Rev. John Cargo officiating. Burial will be at Athens - Mt. Hope (Hoovers) Cemetery, Athens, IN.

Memorial donations may be made to the family whose wish is to do something kind for those who cared for their mother.
