WINAMAC - Louise Jean Hermanson Schultz, 94, of Winamac, formerly of Rensselaer, passed away at 2:40 p.m., Friday, Aug. 17, at Parkview Haven Retirement Home, Francesville.

She was born April 23, 1924 in Jasper County, to the late Rudolph A. and Frances M. Davisson Ritter. She married Fred L. Hermanson on July 16, 1944. He passed away May 1, 1976. She married Earl W. Schultz on Dec. 27, 1981. He passed away Feb. 16, 2017.

She is survived by:

Mrs. Schultz was an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Winamac. She had been a member of the Happy Homemakers Home Economics Club in Rensselaer. She was a beautician and later worked at First Union Bank in Winamac. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, scrapbooking, cooking and baking. She will be remembered for her wonderful pies. She loved caring for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 24, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 25, at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Woodley officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Rensselaer.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church or Parkview Haven Retirement Home.
