Lois L. Hickle
February 16, 1931 to June 29, 2018
WINAMAC - Lois L. Hickle, 87, of Winamac, passed away at 5:20 p.m., Friday, June 29, at Franciscan Health East Hospital, Lafayette.
She was born Feb. 16, 1931, in Winamac, to Melvin Rudolph and Hazle M. Potts Tetzloff. She married Grover Charles Hickle on Dec. 15, 1950 in Winamac. He died June 27, 1983.
She is survived by:

Toni (Mike) Lange, Fort Wayne, Daughter
Grandchildren: Tiffany (Jeremy) Straus, Britni (Jason) Brown, Brandon (Melissa) Hickle and Emily Lange.

Sophia Brown, Andi Rae Straus and Emmett Straus,

Mrs. Hickle was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Winamac. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women's group, Purdue Home Extension Club and a euchre club. She served on a church committee that served meals to the Winamac Kiwanis Club for many years. She was a homemaker and had worked as a cook at Eastern Pulaski Schools for many years. She enjoyed reading and caring for her flowers. She quilted and did cross-stitch sewing. She was a volunteer at the local nursing home. She enjoyed traveling. She especially enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 5, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 6, at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Marty officiating. Burial will be at Winamac Cemetery, Winamac.
Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Winamac.
