Eddy P. Minnick

November 15, 1948 to May 21, 2018

WINAMAC - Eddy P. Minnick, 69, of Winamac, passed away at 9:50 p.m., Monday, May 21, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.

He was born Nov. 15, 1948 in Logansport, to the late Frederick R. and Marr M. Kistler Minnick. He was a 1967 graduate of Pioneer High School in Royal Center. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Winamac VFW Post #1728. On Aug. 23, 1975, he married the late Margaretha Roza in Butano Canyon, CA.

Survivors include his son Jason Minnick, Wabash; brothers Nathanial (Kenneth Walter) Minnick, Alamogordo, and Brad (Kathy) Minnick, Winamac; step-brother Richard (Marsha) Lehman, Pulaski; step-sister Carolyn (Ray) Brown, Elberfeld; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: brother Dave Minnick, step-mother Donna Lehman Minnick, and step-brother Terry Lehman.

Mr. Minnick was retired from Plymouth Tube in Winamac. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching all types of auto-racing. He was a beloved father, grandfather and brother. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. A military honors ceremony will be at 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Final disposition will be private.
