Hazel L. Myers Henry

July 8, 1919 to March 25, 2018

WINAMAC - Hazel Lucille Henry, 98, passed away Sunday, March 25.

She was born July 8, 1919 in Leipsic, OH to the late Frank and Alice West Myers. She was raised in Grass Creek, where she lived until she married the late Eugene M. Henry on Aug. 6, 1938. They were married 71 years.

Survivors include: 
Myron (Mary) Henry, Son 
Four Grandchildren: Karen, Carrie, Anita and Kevin 
Five Great-Grandchildren: Michael, Vanessa, Matthew, Abby and Marin

She was preceded in death by: 
Nicholas Henry, Great Grandson 
Sisters: Mary Leonard, Josephine Diveley and Eileen Myers 
Brother: Carl Myers

Mrs. Henry and her husband lived in Peru, and then Kokomo, before moving to Port St. Lucie, FL in 1978. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon (since 1956) and had been active in the women's group. During the couple's Florida years, they enjoyed their fellowship at Indian River Presbyterian Church. Her family will miss her warm smiles and gentle laughter.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 7, at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac with Rev. Ruby Kleymann officiating. Mrs. Henry will be buried next to her husband following services.

Memorial donations may be made to the music department at the Indian River Presbyterian Church.
