John W. O'Donnell Jr.
May 31, 1943 to October 16, 2017
WINAMAC - John William O'Donnell Jr., 74, of Fayetteville, Ark. (formerly of Winamac) died at 1:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 16, at his home in Fayetteville.
He was born May 31, 1943, in Winamac, to the late John Sr. and Dorothy Hein O'Donnell. He was a 1961 graduate of Winamac High School. In 1963, he married his high school sweetheart, Carolyn Heater. She died Nov. 12, 2011.

Mr. O'Donnell served in the U.S. Army, was in the band "The Group," was a hospital administrator, restaurateur, and was in sales. He and his wife moved to Fayetteville in 1983 with Winamac Steel. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 27, at St. Peter's Cemetery, Winamac, with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating. The American Legion and VFW will conduct military graveside services. Burial will follow services at the cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter's Cemetery.
