Fred Chupp

March 28, 1922 to February 5, 2011

WINAMAC - Fred Chupp, 88, of 1756 E 225 N, Winamac, passed away at 1:53 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5,  at his residence.

He was born March 28, 1922 in White Cloud, MI, to the late Edward and Bernice Artlip Chupp. He married Ruth L. McClung on Nov. 13, 1974, in Winamac. She survives.

Mr. Chupp was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Winamac. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the VFW Post #1728, and American Legion Post #71, both of Winamac. He retired from NIPSCO in 1984 after 31 years of employment.

Friends may call after  10 a.m., Wednesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., (Wednesday, Feb. 9), at the funeral home, with Pastor David Norris officiating. Burial will be in Ever Rest Memorial Park,Logansport. The VFW and American Legion will conduct military services at the funeral home following the service.
