WINAMAC - Donald Wayne "George" Baugh, Sr., 71, of Winamac, passed away unexpectedly at 4:05 a.m., Friday, Dec. 9, at Logansport Memorial Hospital, Logansport.

He was born July 10, 1945 in Kewanna, to the late Harvey V. and Alma Edith Cappis Baugh. On Sept. 9, 1978 he married Carey M. Sheets in Rochester. She survives.

Mr. Baugh worked his entire life in general construction as an independent contractor. He was a former member of the Logansport Eagles and Knox Moose. He enjoyed country western music and dancing. He also enjoyed fishing and watching Western movies. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Seger officiating. Private burial will be at Pro Cemetery, Winamac.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
