WINAMAC - Lester A. Hurlburt Jr, 48, of 706 S. West St., Winamac, passed away at 11:33 a.m., Friday, Jan. 14, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born Aug.  27, 1962, in Logansport, to Lester and Caroline Jylland Hurlburt Sr. He married Melissa Grandstaff on March 24, 1990 in Winamac. She survives.

He was preceded in death by:
Caroline Jylland Lockridge, Mother

Mr. Hurlburt had worked as a welder at Galbreath Inc. in Winamac and at Sabre Manufacturing in Knox.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday (Jan. 18), at Winamac Cemetery, Winamac, with Pastor Carl Lendermon officiating.

Memorial donations may be given to the family.
