MEDARYVILLE - Nancy Marie Barber, 68, of Knox, died Friday, Sept. 16, at Porter Regional Hospital, Valparaiso.

She was born Feb. 22, 1948 in Independence, MO. to Ervin Sr. and Loraine Pittman. She married Marvin Chestley Barber Sr. on July 2, 1968, in Arcadia, FL. He died Nov. 27, 2009.

Mrs. Barber loved her dogs, Tiger and Princess. She also enjoyed playing computer games. She loved spending time with her son, Danny, and her grandkids. She moved to Medaryville in 2001, coming from Bradenton, FL. She later moved to Knox.

The family will schedule a Celebration of Life service at a later date.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel Medaryville.
