Virginia A. Steiner Wagner

March 14, 1930 to July 11, 2016

WINAMAC - Virginia "Ginny" Alto Wagner, 86, of Peachtree City, Ga., formerly of Winamac, passed away  Monday, July 11, at the Southland Rehabilitation in Peachtree City, Ga.

She was born March 14, 1930, in Lafayette, to the late Harry and Edith Nelson Steiner. She married Henry Lewis Wagner on Feb. 12, 1961 in Lafayette. He died Sept. 24, 2013. 

Survivors include:
Edie (Dean) Tendick, Winamac, Daughter 
Herb (Megan) Wagner, Moreland, Ga., Son 
Grandchildren: Jennifer Tendick, Travis Tendick, Kayla Wagner, Benne Wagner and Adam Wagner 

Preceded in death by:
5 Brothers
5 Sisters 

Mrs. Wagner was an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Winamac, for many years. She was also member of the church Ladies Guild. She enjoyed eating out, attending church conferences, Vacation Bible School and going to gospel hymn sings. She also enjoyed traveling on bus tours. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered by many for the pies and cinnamon rolls she prepared for church events.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, July 17, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, July 18, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Winamac, with Pastor Tom Woodley officiating. Burial will be at St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery, Medaryville.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Luke Lutheran Church.
