Nancy S. Freeman

March 9, 1931 to January 8, 2011

WINAMAC - Nancy S. Freeman, 79, 703 S. Market St., Winamac, passed away at 10:15 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 8, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.

She was born March 9, 1931, in Bristol, VA, to the late Charles and Pauline Stone Dulaney. She married John S. Freeman on April 5, 1952, in Kingsville, TX. He survives.

Mrs. Freeman grew up in Bluntville, TN. She attended college in Knoxville, TN, before joining the U.S. Navy in 1951. She was a former member of the Winamac First Presbyterian Church, and also a former Sunday School teacher. She was a homemaker and cared for her grandchildren. She was a special needs aide in Winamac and Star City for a few years. She was a retired Pulaski County Deputy Clerk where she was employed for 19 years.
