Alice I. Montgomery

November 2, 1922 to April 7, 2016

WINAMAC - Alice Irene Montgomery, 93, of Greenwood, formerly of Logansport, passed away at 5:45 a.m., Thursday, April 7, at Greenwood Village, Greenwood.

She was born Nov. 2, 1922, in Star City, to the late Milo and Muriel Grace Penny Bonnell. She married Forest Harvey "Frosty" Montgomery on Dec. 28, 1941, in the Star City United Methodist Church. He died Jan. 5, 2015.

Zachary Hugo (Elissa) Sander, Seattle, WA, Grandson 
Addilyn Grace Sander, Great Granddaughter 
Wayne( Mary Lou) Bonnell, Star City, Brother

Mrs. Montgomery and her husband were members of the Main Street United Methodist Church in Logansport. She was a long time member of the Dinshigers Club of railroad engineers. She was a longtime "New Deal Democrat." She was a skilled seamstress, an excellent baker and was financially savvy. She and Frosty spent many years in North Fort Myers, Fla. She was a good life-skills teacher for her grandchildren. She was a realtor and had been a partner with her husband in Montgomery Realty Inc. She will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren, friends and family.

Arrangements are pending.

Burial will be at Buck Cemetery, Thornhope.
