FRANCESVILLE - Daniel Frederick Germann, 90, of 136 Casa Marina Place, Sanford, FL (formerly of San Pierre), died at 11:55 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 29, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 3, 1920, in LaCrosse, to the late Rudolph and Aline Heiniger Germann. He married Irma Lois Gutwein on Dec. 9, 1944 in Valparaiso. She survives.

Mr. Germann was a member of the Bethel Bible Church in Winamac where he had served as an Elder and missions board member. He was a member of the Gideons. He was a former school board member of the North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation and a former board member of the San Pierre State Bank and Starke County Hospital.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday,  at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday (Jan. 8), at  Bethel Bible Church, Winamac, with Rev. Thomas Hopewell officiating. A private burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
