Lloyd M. Logan

August 21, 1921 to February 21, 2014

FRANCESVILLE - Lloyd Melvin Logan, 92, of Francesville, passed away Friday, Feb. 21, at The Renaissance at The Terraces in Bonita Springs, FL.

He was born Aug. 21, 1921 in Francesville to the late Thomas and Maude Culp Logan. He married Viola Yaggie Strus on Dec. 16, 1995 in Francesville. She survives.

Mr. Logan was born and raised on his family's homestead in Gilliam Township, which has been in the family for over 150 years. He was a self-employed farmer until his retirement at age 80.He was a founding member of the First Baptist Church in Francesville. He enjoyed traveling and fine dining as well as fishing. He was a very generous man and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., (Saturday, March 1), at the funeral home with Pastors Rick Mumford and Dennis Gutwein officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
