FRANCESVILLE - Mary D. Danford, 66, of Francesville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, at her home, surrounded by her family, following a brave battle against cancer.

She was born Aug. 28, 1947 in Stockbridge, MI to the late Wayne and Gertrude Patrick Neeley. On Feb. 3, 1962, she married Norman C. Danford. He survives.

Mrs. Danford was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Winamac. She was an assistant for AWANA, teaching children about the Lord. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching Norm race, and doing ceramic crafts. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m.,  Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday (Oct. 3), at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Francesville with Pastor David Norris officiating. Burial will be in White Post Cemetery, Medaryville.

Memorial donations may be given to Calvary Baptist Church or American Cancer Society.
