MEDARYVILLE - Alladene R. Archer, 85, of 1674 North 1550 West, Medaryville, died at 11:40 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 11,  at her residence in Medaryville.

She was born Jan. 28, 1925, in Medaryville, to the late Marion and Milda Foust Poisel. She married Earl W. Archer on June 21, 1948 in Winamac. He died March 7, 2009.

Mrs. Archer was a member of the Medaryville Christian Church. She enjoyed crocheting and made lap blankets that she donated to area nursing homes and the Soldiers Home in Lafayette. She was an active and longtime volunteer at the Medaryville Senior Center.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Medaryville. The funeral service will be  at 11 a.m., Wednesday (Sept. 15), at the funeral home with Pastor Dean Tanner officiating. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery, Medaryville.

Memorial donations may be given to the Pulaski Memorial Hospice.
