WINAMAC - Nancy L. Wallace, 73, of 5165 N 180 E, Monterey, passed away at 3:47p.m., Friday, Sept. 10, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth, MN.

She was born March 27, 1937, in Gary,  to the late Arlie and Thelma Buckler Campbell. She married Harold D. Wallace on March 23, 1957, in Hebron. He survives.

Mrs. Wallace had lived in Monterey since 1994 and had been visiting the area since 1958. She was formerly of Union Mills. She also enjoyed their summer home in Hayward, WI. She was a former member of the Nobel Township Vol. Fire Department Auxillary, Union Mills. She was a former top volunteer for the March of Dimes in 1972 for Lake County. She catered many weddings, senior citizen dinners and meetings in the Union Mills area.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m.,  Saturday (Sept. 18), at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Cemetery, Monterey.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
