Susan D. Sayers
September 27, 1961 to June 26, 2013
WINAMAC - Susan Diane Sayers, 51, Kokomo, formerly of Star City, passed away at 8:55 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, in Waterford Place Health Campus, Kokomo.
She was born Sept. 27, 1961, in Knox, to the late Dan Robert and Jean Ann Compton Sayers.

Miss Sayers graduated from Winamac Community High School in 1980, and attened Huntington College. She was a nine-year 4-H member of the Van Buren Twinklers and had also been a 4-H leader for several years. She was a former member of the American Legion Post #71 Auxillary and the Star City Lioness Club. She was a member of the Star City United Methodist Church, where she formerly served on the administrative council, and had attended the Main Street Methodist Church, Logansport, and Grace United Methodist Church, Kokomo. She set a record by attending Camp Re-Yo-Ad for 44 years. She enjoyed spending time with her companion John Seabolt. She leaves behing her two guinea pigs Mapel Carmel and Lemon Drop Peggy.
Friends may call after 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Star City United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., (Wednesday, July 3), at the church with Rev. Ruth Waite and Rev. John Wortinger officiating. Burial will be in Star City West Cemetery, Star City.
Memorial donations may be given to the Star City United Methodist Church.
