WINAMAC - Betty Louise Koscher, 78, of Chicago, passed away Saturday, March 16, at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

She was born July 11, 1934, in Star City, to the late Inman and Pauline W. Walter Bird.

Mrs. Koscher was born and raised in the Winamac area. She was a former resident of the Knox and Bass Lake area before moving to Chicago in 1959. She was a 1952 graduate of Winamac High School and had attended Truman College in Chicago. She was a legal secretary for various Chicago law firms over her career. She had formerly attended the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, going to movies, music, and reading books

Friends may call after 11 a.m., Saturday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac .A celebration of life service will follow at 1 p.m., (Saturday, May 11), at the funeral home. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.
