WINAMAC - Dorothy A. Baker, 88, of 262 S 300 E, Winamac, died at 5:50 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, at Pulaski Healthcare Center in Winamac.
She was born May 3, 1922, in Culver, to Owen and Anna Weaver Weaver. She married Ralph Walter Baker Feb. 26, 1949 in Winamac. Ralph died June 12, 1988.

Mrs. Baker was a cook at Eastern Pulaski Schools. She retired in 1992. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winamac. She was also a member of the Christian Mothers, Daughters of Isabella and was a charter member of the Twilight Twenty Extension Homemakers Club. She was a frequent exhibitor at the Extension Homemakers' Open Class at the Pulaski County fair.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. A scriptural wake service will be held at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday (Aug. 18), in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Winamac, with Rev. Martin Sandhage officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Winamac.
Memorial donations may be given to the Cancer Society, Heart Association or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
