Glenna B. Haschel
February 8, 1927 to January 31, 2013
WINAMAC - Glenna B. Haschel, 85, of Winamac, died at 12:10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 31, at Wintersong Village, Knox.
She was born Feb. 8, 1927, in Delong, to the late Francis and Jeaneave Faulkner Kelly. She married Ray Edward Haschel on Nov. 20, 1948 in Culver. He died Oct. 28, 1998.

She was preceded in death by

Mrs. Haschel worked as a cashier at the A&P Grocery in Winamac for many years. She had also worked as a telephone switchboard operator in Monterey and Winamac. She earned a pilot license as a young woman and maintained it for many years. She was an avid gardener and bird watcher. She gave many wild flower presentations to groups over the years. She especially loved going on Mayflower tours. She had traveled to all 50 states and to seven foreign countries. She was an avid NASCAR racing fan. Her favorite driver was Dale Jarrett. She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star No. 96 in Winamac.
Friends may call 12 noon to 1 p.m., Tuesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., (Tuesday, Feb. 5), at the funeral home with Rev. Laura Bailey officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac.
Memorial donations may be given to OES 96 Winamac.
