WINAMAC  - Paul A. Bonnell, 65, of 324 W. South St., Winamac, passed away at 12:37 p.m.,Sunday, Aug. 8, in his residence.

He was born Oct. 12, 1944, in Winamac, to Emron and Annabelle Doen Bonnell. He married Mary Lou Poor Ent on Sept. 10, 1971, in Monticello. She survives.

Mr. Bonnell served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a former employee of Galbreath Inc. and Whallon Machine. He was a local businessman for over 31 years, owning the former Rich's Cafe and the South 40. He was a life member of the VFW Post #1728 and was also a member of the Eagle's #2580, both of Winamac.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.,Tuesday, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday (Aug. 11), at the funeral home, with Dan Frain officiating. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac. The VFW and American Legion will conduct military graveside services.

Memorial donations may be given to Southern Care Hospice or the charity of the donor's choice.
