WINAMAC - Jeffrey Scott "Jeff" Olds, 57, of Winamac, died at 10:15 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12, at his residence, surrounded by his family, following a year-long battle with cancer.

He was born May 7, 1955, in Knox,  to Charles and Mary Graves Olds. He married Kristine Lawrence Murray on Oct. 9, 1980 in Winamac. She passed away Oct. 21, 1987.

Grandchildren Kristine Hines, Holly Hines, Brittney Hines, Michael Wright, Taylor Moss, Shawna Williams, Tristen Williams, Madison Arvin, Noah Olds, and Brayden Olds.

Mr. Olds was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Winamac. He had many talents and was considered a "jack of all trades." He constructed his own saw mill and built three homes in the Winamac area. He enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles, and anything mechanical. He loved his family unconditionally and will be dearly missed. 

Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m., Thursday, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Winamac. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m., (Thursday, Nov. 15), at the church with Pastor Tom Woodley officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion-Franklin Township Cemetery.
