WINAMAC - Lewis Charles Tieman, 64, of Orange Park, FL, passed away at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 3, at his residence.

He was born March 4, 1947, in Pulaski, to the late Preston and Florentine Perwitz Tieman.

Survivors include:
Norma L. Blankenberg, Orange Park, FL, Companion
Gene (Laura) Tieman, Wisconsin,  Brother & Sister-in-law
Several Cousins

2 Sisters

Mr. Tieman was retired from the U.S. Navy after 23 years of service. He was a life member of the VFW in Middleberg, FL and a member of the American Legion. He was a member of the FOE, where he served as Chaplain. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge, Masonic Lodge, and Shriners. He and his companion, Norma, attended Russell Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs, FL.They enjoyed traveling in their motorhome. He enjoyed boating and fishing.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, Orange Park, Fla. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., (Friday, Jan. 6), at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at a later date in the Pulaski Presbyterian Cemetery, Pulaski, IN.
