WHEATFIELD - James Neeley, 65, Medaryville, passed away Friday, Nov. 11.

He was born May 10, 1946 to the late Willis and Susie Bailey Neeley in Rensselaer. On Sept. 17, 1965, he married Sharon Howard. She survives.

Also surviving are his children: James Edward Neeley and fiance’ Teresa Rowe, Kathy (Frank) Owens, Kenneth (Wanda) Neeley, Tanya (Ben) Fitch, and Justin Neeley; 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings: Mildred Lane, Sally Pigg, Mable (Donnie) Oliver, Polly (Anthony) Cooper, Leanie (Chili) Prater, Betty (Melvin) Wireman, Bobbie (Charlotte) Neeley, and Wilard (Francis) Neeley.

He was preceded in death by brother Ronnie Neeley.

Monday. The funeral service  will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday (Nov. 15), at the church with Rev. James Rowe officiating. Interment will be in Goodway Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family. The Boersma Funeral Home in Wheatfield is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Neeley worked as a welder at Talbert’s for 28 years. He was a member of Goodway Baptist Church in Medaryville.
