Paul R. Miller
March 16, 1968 to March 15, 2025
WINAMAC - Paul Richard Miller, 56, of Winamac passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 15.
He was born March 16, 1968 in Napa, Calif. to Larry and Beverly (Strasser) Miller. He was a 1986 graduate of Winamac Community High School and earned his degree in education from Ball State University. On Dec. 23, 2015 he married Michelle R. Wegner. She survives.

Survivors also include children Anna Miller, Hunter Hines, and Addyson Hines all of Winamac; parents, Larry and Bev Miller of Winamac; brothers Jeff Miller of Royal Center and David (Sherree) Miller of Bass Lake; mother- and father- in-law, Don and Cathy Wegner of Winamac; brothers-in-law Chris (Megan) Wegner and Jeremy (Tonia) Wegner; nieces and nephews Gavin Miller, Kelcie Miller, Kaelyn Miller, Matthew Miller, Evan Miller, Claire Miller, Kolbey Wegner, Kelsey Wegner, Avery Wegner, Penelope Wegner, and Celia Wegner.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Barney and Dorothy Strasser.
Mr. Miller was director of sales at Standard Industrial Supply in Winamac. He enjoyed camping, coaching, cruising around in his Jeep, working on his cars, watching the Indiana Hoosiers, and spending time with his family and friends. His greatest joy in life was supporting and watching his girls grow up into beautiful, young women. He attended First Church in DeMotte. He was loved by all that knew him. He was a very passionate man that who brought so much happiness and inspiration to those around him. He was caring and kind, always willing to drop what he was doing to help someone else. He was a great friend, co-worker, coach, uncle, brother, son, father and husband. May we all work to be a blessing for someone in our lives like he was in ours.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m., Monday, March 31, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Winamac Chapel, 110 N. Sally Dr., Winamac. A celebration of Paul’s life will take place at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, at the Winamac United Methodist Church.
