Paul A. Hoffman

June 21, 1940 to February 24, 2025

WINAMAC - Word has been received of the death of Paul Alfred Hoffman, 84, of Edmond, OK (formerly of Winamac) who passed away Monday, Feb. 24, in Oklahoma City, OK.

He was born June 21, 1940 and grew up in Thornhope. He earned an honorary diploma from Winamac High School. He married Shirley Ann (Busch) Scheffer on Oct. 27, 1990, in Winamac. She passed away Sept. 18, 2019.

Mr. Hoffman was retired from Whallon Machinery in Royal Center where he had worked for 30 years as a self-taught draftsman/engineer. He was a longtime member of the Winamac VFW Post #1728 Auxiliary. He enjoyed traveling with Shirley and spending time with his family. He recently moved to Oklahoma and became an avid Oklahoma City Thunder fan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 5, at Star City West Cemetery in Star City, with Dylan Johnson officiating. A celebration of life event will follow at 11 a.m. (April 5), at the Winamac VFW Post #1728 in Winamac. Burial will be at Star City West Cemetery.
