WINAMAC - Michele D. Mustakes, 67, of Winamac passed away Friday, March 7, at Northwest Health Hospital in LaPorte.

Born Aug. 11, 1957 in Sullivan (IN), she was the daughter of the late Donald and Margaret (Mull) McAleece.

Survivors include her husband Andrew Mustakes of Winamac; daughter Nicole (Robert) Pugh of Winamac; brother Dusty Starr of South Bend; and granddaughter Lorelei Pugh.

She was preceded in death by son Robert Coon.

Mrs. Mustakes spent her youth in Linton, and Fort Wayne prior to moving to Winamac. She was a horse trainer and instructor. She also loved taking trail rides with friends. Her hobbies included reading books, gaming with friends, and playing with her granddaughter.

A celebration of her life and visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Friday, March 14, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Winamac Chapel, 110 N. Sally Dr.
