WINAMAC - Timothy “Tim” Voreis, 59, of Winamac, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, at his home with his family at his side.

He was born Jan. 15, 1966 in Knox, to Kenneth L. and Gaynelle (Collins) Voreis. He was a graduate of John Adams High School in South Bend. He married Mary E. Heying on Dec. 28, 1985, in South Bend. They shared 39 years of marriage. She survives.

Mr. Voreis was a proud truck driver with many safety awards. He had a hazmat endorsement and a doubles and triples endorsement. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, as well as camping with his wife. He cherished lifelong friendships and time spent with family.

The family will host a celebration of life event at a later date. Private burial will take place at Burr Oak Cemetery in Burr Oak, IN.
