While in Francesville, she attended the Francesville United Methodist Church and later the First United Methodist Church in Winamac. She enjoyed traveling, golfing, beekeeping, spinning and knitting, and game nights with friends. She also loved ballroom dancing and baking, especially pies. Compelled to be a student of ovarian oncology later in life, she developed an intimate appreciation for compassionate physicians, nurses, and caretakers who are called to practice this medical science. Bless them all.
