Field trips are being planned and begin this month. The Book Fair and Grandparent’s Day will be the last week of September.

Middle/High school principal Angie Radtke reported the school year “is off to a great start.”

Mrs. Johns and Mr. Amsler took 60 high school students to the Pulaski County Highway Department to a resource and opportunity fair sponsored by WorkOne where they were able to meet with colleges and employers. This year the school is participating in a county-wide attendance program called, Project Attend. So far West Central has seen an 83% decrease in the amount of attendance letters sent home to middle schoolers and 44% decrease in the amount of letters sent home to high school students.
