“Wheelchair users need our product to make them mobile. When they need help with their equipment, we go, and we go fast,” said McKinney.Following the on-the-spot repair, Fisher and McKinney visited the next day to ensure the Braun Corporation lift unit was moving smoothly and was in proper working condition.
“Tim and Kenny took time out of their holiday weekend to make the necessary adjustments to the Mobile Experience’s wheelchair lift. Where else but small town America do you find people who are this generous and hard-working?” said Kathy Sehnert, ag educator with the America’s Farmers Mobile Experience.
The following day, the newly repaired wheelchair lift was put to the test by a special visitor – Mr. Ralph Braun, founder of The Braun Corporation, and a wheelchair user since age 15.
Monsanto’s America’s Farmers Mobile Experience made a stop at the fair by request of several Pulaski County farmers. The mobile unit’s 53-foot semi trailer expands into a 1,000-square-foot exhibit, showcasing America’s farmers and the challenges and opportunities they encounter every day. During the four days the Mobile Experience spent at the Pulaski County 4-H Fair, more than 600 people visited the exhibit to learn about the work that America’s farmers do every day to feed a hungry planet – including a few who would not have gotten the chance to view the exhibit if it weren’t for The Braun Corporation’s dedicated staff.
