
Commencement exercises for the Class of 2010 at Winamac Community High School will be at 7 p.m., Friday, May 28, in the gymnasium.
Danielle is a member of Sunshine Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), National Honor Society, Key Club and her church youth group at St. John's Lutheran Church. She has won a Purdue University presidential scholarship and a Sunshine Society health careers scholarship.
She has been named to the distinguished honor roll and participated on the Midwest Conference math team in calculus. She played volleyball one year, and has been involved in a variety of community service activities throughout her school career. She has been employed by MillCreek Soy Wax Candle Supply since 2006.
Meghan has been active with Student Council, Sunshine Society, National Honor Society, SADD, Key Club, Peers Educating Peers, Drama Club, Art Club, Midwest Conference math contest, Academic Super Bowl, Cience Olympiad, Super Mileage Team, VEX robots, Shakespeare Club and FFA, plus 4-H and her church youth group.
She is a recipient of the Lilly Scholarship and was named a National Merit Commended Scholar. She was Hoosier Girls State delegate, a Richard Lugar Leadership Symposium representative and a Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Seminar delegate. She earned a Presidential Volunteer Service Award for 100 hours of community service. She has earned many more awards in 4-H, academic and club endeavors. She has been employed as a summer babysitter, at Camelot Flowers during the school year, by the Star City Youth League, at the family farm, and as a tutor.
