At 6:30 p.m., Friday, Deputy Ryan Austin and Reserve Deputy John Haley were patrolling along U.S. 35 when they observed a blue Ford truck pull into the driveway of a residence where the officers knew the owner is not currently residing. The officers stopped a distance away to observe the vehicle and its occupants.
One man exited the truck and opened the hood of the vehicle and then closed it. The men continued to sit in the driveway. The officers pulled into the driveway to check the men's story, at which time one subject fled on foot into a building. Both subjects were taken into custody.
A check revealed the information the men were wanted in Marshall County. During an inventory of the impounded truck, officers located Pseudo ephedrine blister packs, Oxymorphone, a large quantity of Methamphetamine, scales, pipes, straight razors, and other devices for consumption and sale of illegal drugs.
Both subjects are being held in the Pulaski County Jail on the following preliminary charges:
Dealing in Methamphetamine, Class A Felony
Possession of Methamphetamine, Class C Felony
Possession of a Syringe, Class D Felony
Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Class D Felony
Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule II, Class D Felony
Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule IV, Class D Felony
Possession of Paraphernalia, Class A Misdemeanor
