He was elected to the board in 1985. During his 37-year tenure, the organization grew from $9 million in assets and one office to $300 million in assets and seven banking locations. Cummings has seen dramatic changes in banking and has been instrumental in planning the strategic direction of the bank.
He resides in Rensselaer with his wife Judy. He stays busy fishing and keeping up with his grandkids and their many activities.
Alliance Bank has also announced the recent promotions of Kayley Kasten to credit analyst/mortgage underwriter, and Chassidy Sparks to loan assistant, both of the Francesville office.
Kasten has been with Alliance Bank as a loan assistant since June of 2013. With a degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in education, this new position will allow her to expound on her strengths for Alliance Bank. She will be assisting loan officers across the enterprise by reviewing and analyzing financials as part of the lending process.
“Kayley’s can-do attitude and positive approach to situations lends itself well to Alliance Bank’s philosophy of top-notch customer service,” says Human Resource director Barb Schultz.
Sparks is one of the newest members of the Alliance Bank team having only been with the organization, as part-time help in the loan department since March of 2016.
According to loan operations manager Gina Gaddis, “Chassidy learns quickly and is wonderful addition to our Alliance Bank loan team. She brings boundless energy and enthusiasm. We’re really happy to have her.”
