Dead are Loss Stacy, 59, Winamac, and Mary Ann Kurek, 56, of Gary. Loss Stacy was reportedly renting the residence from his brother Mark Stacy. Both victims were pronounced dead at 12:41 a.m., Saturday, March 10, by the coroner’s office.
Evidence from the investigation led to the arrest early Saturday (March 10) of Ross Stacy, 32 of Winamac. Ross Stacy is being held in the Pulaski County Jail and has been formally charged with murder. The police report indicates Ross Stacy is the son of victim Loss Stacy.
On Friday evening (March 9), the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department was called to a residence in the 3900 block west on CR 200 N in Pulaski County. A family member had gone to the residence for a well-being check, as the relative living there had not been heard from in approximately two days. Two people were found dead in the house, according to a report from the Indiana State Police. The county police secured the scene , and Indiana State Police crime scene technicians and detectives were called in to assist with the investigation.
