In his new role, Ledley will work with local community members to inform and educate the public on all the services the hospital has to offer.
Ledley, who has lived in Winamac for the past eight years with his wife, MacKenzie, and their son, said, “I am humbled and excited for the opportunity to work in my community. As someone who moved to Winamac, I have a unique perspective on what makes this an attractive area to non-residents. Along with the schools, and local businesses, PMH is hidden gem in the region. We have great doctors, nurses, and staff members, right here in our own community, offering the highest levels of care. I look forward to working with community leaders to inform the residents of Pulaski County, and the surrounding counties, of all the wonderful work we do here at Pulaski Memorial.”
Along with his duties of marketing the hospital through various media outlets, Ledley wants to be out in the public more. “One of my goals is to increase the interaction between PMH and the residents we serve. Along with the community events, I would like to setup a few town hall style meetings to have a
dialogue with our residents on various healthcare topics.”
All of this is to show that PMH is more than just a hospital. “We want Pulaski Memorial Hospital to be the preeminent health care facility in the region. We want anyone with a health related concern, or question, to think of PMH," Ledley said. "Not only do we want to treat our patients when they are sick, we want to work with our residents to increase the overall wellness of the community. We want to educate the public about diet and exercise, about stress relief and mental health. We want to educate our school aged children about the dangers of drug abuse, whether it be illicit or prescription. Overall, we want to help
our community members achieve a happy and healthy lifestyle, and I look forward to working hard in making that happen.”
