According to a press release, Pulaski County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 100 block of North Plummer Street at approximately 10 p.m., Wednesday (Sept. 27), in reference to a possible domestic incident after a caller reported hearing “screaming and yelling” coming from a residence.
Deputies located the residence and made contact with a resident identified as Krystle Danford. She was found to be at the residence with her three juvenile children.
Deputies were allowed to enter the residence to ensure the safety of everyone inside due to the complaint made to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, according to the police report. Deputies observed a "significant" quantity of marijuana and evidence of dealing marijuana while they were inside the residence. A further search of the residence resulted in the discovery of additional marijuana, as well as firearms, paraphernalia and legend drugs.
Danford was transported to the Pulaski County Jail where she was booked in on charges of Unlawful Possession or Use of a Legend Drug, Level 6 Felony; Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony; Neglect of a Dependent, Level 6 Felony; Dealing in Marijuana, Class A Misdemeanor; Possession of Marijuana, Class B Misdemeanor; and Possession of Paraphernalia, Class C Misdemeanor.
Indiana Department of Child Services responded to the residence to assist with the juveniles located in the home.
The investigation continues.
