Indian Trails consists of 11 schools; Carroll, Delphi, Frontier, Kankakee Valley, North Newton, North White, Rensselaer, South Newton, Tri-County, Twin Lakes, and West Central.
Indian Trails was one of 18 CTE districts to be awarded the competitive awards. James Stradling, director of Indian Trails, said “This is a wonderful opportunity for our students. The grant will help schools expand industry certifications, licensing and dual credit offerings. Students will have the prospect of gaining the skills in high school to prepare them for high wage and high demand careers and/or post-secondary education.”
The IDOE awarded a total of over $1.65 million in Career and Technical Education grants provided through federal Perkins funding.
