Richwine, a retired IDNR conservation officer, succeeds two-term sheriff Mike Gayer, who is also a retired Indiana State Police officer.
Daniel P. Murphy will be Pulaski County's new prosecuting attorney, a position he once held for many years in the 1980s and 90s. He succeeds Stacey Mrak who did not seek re-election.
Bud Krohn Jr. will assume the seat on the Pulaski County Board of Commissioners being vacated by Tracey Shorter who also did not seek re-election.
Linda Powers will become a new member of the Pulaski County Council. She will take over the seat being vacated by her father, the retiring Ron Powers.
Returning to office will be circuit court clerk Tasha Foerg, assessor Holly VanDerAa, surveyor Jenny Keller, coroner Steve VanDerAa and three county councilpersons Alex Haschel, Tom Roth and Mick Tiede.
Ken McFarland will become a new member of the Winamac Town Council.
Township trustees and advisory board members, along with school board members, will also begin new terms of office.
