The Central Time Zone Coalition does not have a website, but there is a website for “Hoosiers for Central Time,” www.hoosiersforcentraltime.com. Their objective is “to educate Hoosiers of the benefits of Indiana being placed in the central time zone (the whole state of Indiana geographically is located in the central time zone. No other state has this distinction).” Their ultimate goal to have the whole state of Indiana placed in the central time zone - but not to repeal daylight savings time.

points/credits to renew their licenses. Principals can allow professional growth points for things such as research and activities to improve student learning in the classroom.
In addition, a discipline/behavior plan will have to be developed for each school. Keeping students in the classroom is key.
Also in other business, Lisa White was hired as a bus driver. Mrs. White has been a substitute bus driver in the past and drove a temporary route to Delphi. Earlier, bus driver Gene Ralph submitted his resignation for retirement purposes. Mr. Ralph had 28 years of service, drove over 350,000 miles, and was presented with a plaque by board president Larry Beach.
Dr. Klitzman noted that the school corporation’s bus routes have been consolidated, with enrollment down slightly, in order to hire one new driver to replace two retirees.
The next school board meeting will be Monday, Sept. 13, in the Distance Learning Lab.
