The executive staff members are:
Legislative Director – Ryan Heater will work on legislation and policy pertinent to the lieutenant governor’s office, agencies and state government. Heater previously worked for the Indiana Cable Telecommunications Association and was responsible for their government affairs initiatives. He also worked in the Indiana House of Representatives as a legislative assistant. He is a graduate of Purdue University and the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Deputy Legislative Director – Daniel Workman will oversee legislative committees and work with the legislative director to work on and shape policy pertinent to the lieutenant governor’s office and agencies. Workman worked under Lt. Governor Becky Skillman as a special assistant. He is a DePauw University graduate.
Intergovernmental Affairs – Marita Steltenpohl will serve as the link to issues and policy between the lieutenant governor’s office, state legislators and local units of government. She worked for Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard as Deputy Finance Director and Operations Manager. Steltenpohl has a degree from IUPUI.
Press Secretary – Tyler Stock will be responsible for the lieutenant governor’s communications and media. He served in the same capacity under Lt. Governor Becky Skillman. He also served as a press secretary in the Indiana House of Representatives. Stock is a graduate of Butler University.
Scheduler – Nancy Ketterman served in the same capacity under Lt. Governor Becky Skillman and Attorney General Steve Carter. She is a graduate of Ball State University.
Constituent Services Director – Karen Davis served in the same capacity under Lt. Governor Becky Skillman. She also worked in the North Gibson School Corporation for 23 years. She is a graduate of the University of Evansville and has a Master’s from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Special Assistant – Joey Fox will aid the lieutenant governor in all of her travels while handling all logistics and details for every event. He previously worked for Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard and Beech Grove Mayor Terry Dilk.
Administrative Assistant – Sarah Rossier will manage the day-to-day operations of the lieutenant governor’s office. She previously worked for Malinowski Consulting and was a deputy legislative director for the Association of Indiana Counties. Rossier has a degree from Indiana University.
