In other business, the board approved a motion to proceed with the consideration of eliminating in the middle school principal's position. This reduction in administrative staff proposal was raised at the board's previous meeting.

The board passed a motion to approve the classified staff stipend, as presented.

A motion was passed to approve the first reading of the air quality policies, as presented, with board members Jeff Tanner and Jim Bergens voting in opposition.

Kelly Manning from the 21st Century Scholars program presented Monica Gainor with this year’s counselor award. Mrs. Gainor has 143 students signed up for the 21st Century Scholars program.

The board accepted the resignations of custodian Lidia Wireman, and of Alicia Hickman from Cooperative School Services

A correction was made in the high school course description books. A pass/fail P/F grade for Peer Tutoring and Library Media are not acceptable by the state. Therefore a grade 0f A-F will be assigned for these classes.

The Dec. 1 board meeting has been cancelled. The next board meeting will be held on Dec. 15.
