It’s fitting that November, traditionally a month for giving thanks, includes National Community Foundation Week, Nov. 13–19, and National Philanthropy Day on the 15th. People around the world will participate in celebrations and special events to recognize the efforts of volunteers, donors, corporations, foundations, small businesses and others to improve their communities.
The Pulaski County Community Foundation’s board of directors has designated November “PCCF Month.” The observance began on Nov. 1 with the Foundation’s Annual Celebration of Philanthropy. Contributors and grantees were recognized along with the Foundation’s activities and accomplishments over the past year.
Join in the celebration all this month with PCCF as we recognize the important role philanthropy plays in our lives and communities. Watch for informative articles each week throughout November to learn more. The Foundation will offer a free program at the library in Winamac on Wednesday (Nov. 16) at 4 p.m.
Consider recognizing PCCF Month and encouraging philanthropy in general through volunteering your time or expertise for a charitable cause you care about; contributing to a Foundation fund or scholarship; visit
PCCF’s webpage at www.pulaskionline.org or find us on Facebook.
Your involvement, whether volunteering, mentoring, giving, or showing your support makes philanthropy possible.
