A total of 3,850,636 individuals have completed the primary series of vaccines in Indiana, or a total of 55.3% of the state population. A total of 758,496 Hoosiers are up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccines and boosters. CDC Community Levels
COVID-19 CDC Community Levels are a new tool to help communities decide what prevention steps to take based on the latest data. Levels can be low, medium, or high and are determined by looking at hospital beds being used, hospital admissions, and the total number of new COVID-19 cases in an area. The levels are updated weekly.
Residents are advised to take precautions to protect themselves and others from COVID-19 based on the COVID-19 Community Level in their area.
In Pulaski County, the CDC community level returned to a High level this week after a week at the Low level. In the surrounding area, neighboring counties Cass, Fulton, Marshall are also at the High level, while Jasper is at the Medium level, and Starke and White are at the Low level. See CDC map here.
